Games like Secret Hitler

Secret Hitler's best moments come after a vote: two players saw the same cards and tell different stories. These games give your table the same kind of argument.

Four to try

  1. Play it here

    Crosscurrent

Our original game on the same mechanics: a Captain names a Partner, the table votes, and the two pass one plan from a deck of 6 Alliance and 11 Mole plans. Mole plans unlock powers. The Alliance wins with 5 plans or by expelling the Mastermind; the Moles with 6, or by getting the Mastermind elected Partner after 3.

    Expelled players watch

Good for Groups who love the policy-deck arguments but want a neutral theme and no box.

Questions

Can I play Secret Hitler on partygame?

No. Crosscurrent is our own game with an original theme and names; it shares the mechanics of a nominated pair, a plan deck and a hidden leader.

Is Crosscurrent good for 5 players?

Yes: at 5–6 players there is one Mole plus the Mastermind, and the Mastermind knows the Mole.

Everyone in the same room?

partygame is for playing face to face, not online matchmaking: each phone keeps your secret and counts the votes, the talking happens at the table. Open a table in the browser, free, no app.
