How to play Undercover
Most players share a secret word; the undercover players have a close one. Describe, listen, vote them out.

Read your word
Hold your phone to see it. It never tells you whether you are undercover.

Give a clue
Describe your word out loud without saying it or part of it.

Start the vote
Once everyone has spoken, the host taps Start voting. Or each speaker taps Done, if the host chose turns.

Vote in secret
Not for yourself. The single highest total goes out; a tie gets one revote among the tied.

Next round
Out players watch, keeping their word. Play on until one side wins.
Two modes
The host picks the mode in the lobby, and it stays for the next game.

Good to know
Mixed languages?
Pick Universal words: everyone gets the same pair in their own language (Classic only).
Only four of you?
Classic works with 4: one undercover, and the game is over after at most two players go out.
Someone left?
Leaving mid-game ends it for everyone, unscored. A dropped phone just rejoins its seat.
