One word. One clue. Find the impostor.
Also known as Who Is Undercover. Everyone gets a secret word, except it isn't quite the same for everyone. Describe yours without saying it, listen for who sounds off, and vote them out.

Most of you share one word.
A few get a close one. Nobody knows which side they're on: your phone only shows your word.

Describe it without saying it.
One clue each, clockwise from whoever goes first. When everyone has spoken, the host starts the vote.
3 · Everyone
Vote out whoever sounds off.
Votes are secret; only the totals show. A tie gets one revote among the tied players.
4 · Everyone
Catch them all, or let them survive.
Civilians win when the last undercover is out. With 5–6 players (one undercover), the undercover wins by making it to the last three (the last two with four players); with 7–10 players (two undercover), once they are as many as the civilians left.

Or: everyone knows the word but one.
Everyone sees a category and the same 8–12 words (more at a bigger table); all but the impostor know which one is secret. One round of clues, one vote. A caught impostor can still win by guessing the word.

Undercover at a glance
How many players does Who Is Undercover need?
Undercover on partygame needs 4 to 10 players in the same room. There is 1 undercover player with 4 to 6 people and 2 with 7 to 10. Impostor mode also takes 4 to 10.
How long does a game take?
Classic takes 10 to 15 minutes and Impostor about 5 to 8, so most tables play several in a row.
How do you play Who Is Undercover?
Most players get the same secret word and the undercover players get a similar one. Everyone describes their word without saying it, then the players still in vote to eliminate the one they suspect.
Which languages are the words in?
English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean or Spanish, 150 to 200 original pairs each. Mixed table? Choose Universal and everyone gets the same pair in their own language (Classic only).
What is Impostor mode?
Everyone but the impostor knows the secret word among 8–12 shown to all. One round of clues and a vote; a caught impostor wins by guessing the word. Impostor mode is a Plus setting; during Early Access every room can use it for free.
Is partygame free?
Yes. Every game on partygame can be played in full for free, with no download or account. No room shows real ads yet; later a free room may show one ad space in the phone lobby, on the final result screen and on the idle shared screen, never during play.
