A mission

  1. 1Leader

    Pick a team

The leader chooses the players for this mission, themselves included if they like.

  2. 2Everyone

    Vote on it

Approve or reject, in secret. A strict majority passes; a tie rejects. Then everyone sees every vote.

  3. 3Team

    Play a card

Good plays Success. Evil may play Success or Fail. Only the number of Fails is shown.

  4. 4Everyone

    Reveal

Enough Fails and the mission fails. The next seat leads the next mission.

  5. 5Assassin

    The last shot

After three successes the Assassin names one Good player. Merlin found: Evil wins.

Roles

Every game has Merlin and the Assassin. The host plays the standard mix for the count, or picks Percival, Morgana, Mordred and Oberon by hand (a Plus setting, free in every room during Early Access); with 5 players, Percival needs Morgana or Mordred.

Good

Merlin

Sees the Evil players, except Mordred. Must not get caught.

Good

Percival

Sees Merlin, or two candidates when Morgana plays.

Good

Loyal Servant

Knows nothing extra. Reads the table.

Evil

Assassin

Knows the Evil team. Takes the last shot at Merlin.

Evil

Morgana

Looks like Merlin to Percival.

Evil

Mordred

Hidden from Merlin.

Evil

Oberon

Knows no teammates, and they don't know him. Merlin sees him.

Evil

Minion

Knows the Evil team, except Oberon.

Winning

GoodThree successful missions, then the Assassin misses Merlin: Good wins.

EvilThree failed missions: Evil wins. Three successes, but the Assassin names Merlin: Evil wins.

Good to know

Three rejected teams?

The fourth team on that mission goes without a vote. Rejections never decide the game.

Who played the Fail?

Nobody sees it, not even at the end. Only the count is shown.

Phone died?

Reopen the site in the same browser to get your seat and role back. If the host is gone 90 seconds, another player can take over.

Host settings: standard roles, or custom roles (Plus) · voice host or screen guide · shared screen optional · Plus settings are free in every room during Early Access

Your phones deal the roles and count the votes.
