The night order
Everyone picks at the same time; the server then resolves the night in this order.
| Step | Role | At night |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Wolf | Wolves see each other; a lone Wolf sees a centre card. |
| 2 | Minion | Sees the Wolves. |
| 3 | Seer | Sees a player's card or two centre cards, as they are now. |
| 4 | Robber | Swaps with a player and sees the new card. |
| 5 | Swapper | Swaps two other players. |
| 6 | Insomniac | Sees their own card, as it ends up. |
A card seen early may be moved later. A role whose card is in the centre is skipped.
Roles and the deck
Every game has 2 Wolves, the Seer, the Robber and the Swapper. 5+ players add the Insomniac, 6+ the Tanner, and at 7+ the host may add the Minion (Plus). Villagers fill the deck to players + 3.
Wolf ×2
Wolves see each other. A lone Wolf peeks at one centre card.
Minion
Sees the Wolves. Wins with them, even if executed.
Seer
Looks at one player's card, or two centre cards.
Robber
Swaps with a player, then sees the card taken.
Swapper
Swaps two other players' cards without looking.
Insomniac
Wakes last and sees their own card.
Villager
No power. Picks a target anyway, as cover.
Tanner
Wins alone by getting executed.
Who wins
| Side | Wins when |
|---|---|
| Village | A Wolf is executed |
| Wolves | No Wolf is executed, and the Tanner isn't either |
| Tanner | The Tanner is executed |
By final cards. If no player holds a Wolf, the village wins when nobody (or only the Minion) is executed, and a Minion wins when anyone else is. With neither, executing a Villager means nobody wins.
Good to know
Someone never confirmed?
The host can call dawn. They don't act tonight.
Tanner executed?
The Tanner wins and the Wolves can't. The village still wins if a Wolf goes too.
Both Wolves in the centre?
It happens. Read the win rules for a night with no Wolf among the players.
Host settings: add the Minion at 7–10 (Plus) · talk timer 3, 4, 5 or 7 min, or none · voice host or screen guide · Plus settings are free in every room during Early Access
Your phones run the night and replay it at the end.
