Write what comes to mind and see who thought the same.

The screen shows a topic, like “Things you order at hot pot”. Everyone secretly writes two answers on their phone, then you take turns saying one out loud and turning it over. Whoever wrote the same comes out with it. Exactly two of you alike is worth the most.

1 · Everyone

One topic. Two secret answers.

Everyone writes at the same time, so nobody waits. Keep them short, and don't copy the neighbour: you can't change an answer once it is sent.

Only you see your answers

2 · Whose turn

Say one out loud. Then reveal it.

In turn, pick one of your answers, say it to the table and tap Reveal. Everyone who wrote the same comes out with it.

  • Say it first
  • Then tap Reveal

3 · Everyone

Same page!

The group appears on the screen: the answer, who wrote it and what it scored. Alone? Then you tell us why you wrote it.

4 · Everyone

Exactly one other is the sweet spot.

Too obvious and the crowd dilutes it; too rare and nobody matches. Aim for the one friend who thinks like you.

Same thing, other words?

If your answer means what a revealed group says, tap Mine counts. The host rules on any doubt, and a no sends the answer back.

At the end: the best pair, the most original, the biggest chorus, and the player most on the same page as everyone.

Phones and TV

On your phone

  • The topic and two boxes for your answers, secret until you reveal
  • On your turn: your unrevealed answers and a Reveal button
  • “Mine counts” when your answer means the same as a group already out

On the TV (recommended)

  • The topic and how many players have answered
  • Each group as it is revealed: the answer, who wrote it and the points
  • The running scores and, at the end, the three stats

No TV? Every phone lists the groups revealed so far, and you talk it through.

Same Page in brief

How many players?

3 to 12, and 4–8 is the sweet spot. Everyone writes at once, so a big table never queues.

How long does a game take?

About 3 minutes a round: roughly 45 seconds of writing and a couple of minutes of revealing and chatting. A quick game is 4 rounds, a standard one 6, so 12–20 minutes.

Do we need a TV?

No, but it helps: the topic, each revealed group and the scores are on the screen, so the whole table looks up together. Without one, every phone lists the groups revealed so far.

What counts as the same answer?

The server matches spelling variants for you. If two answers mean the same in different words, the other player taps Mine counts and the host decides.
